I recently replaced a router with the newish DGL 4500, the wired network is working fine, but the wireless is flaky and best and doesnt work at worst. When i first installed the router after around an hour of messing around i got it to work fine, transfering files on wireless at around 6-7mb/sec, not real fast i know, but better then nothing.

I thought upgrading to the latest firmware might help fix the problem, but it's ruined what was a pretty good router. When I downloaded the 1.20 firmware, the website did say that once "upgraded" the router could not be reloaded with the older firmware. I thought, it's a router, why would I ever want to reload older firmware?
